American Federation of Police and Concerned Citizens
Founded in 1978, the American Federation of Police and Concerned Citizens (AFPCC) supports police officers and their families.
The AFPCC offers various services and programs, such as survivor programs for families of officers killed in the line of duty, and the publication, “Police Family News”. Our family support services provide vital assistance to the relatives of fallen officers, who face emotional and financial hardships after losing their loved ones. We offer emergency funds to help them cover essential bills, grants for counseling services, scholarships for education, and gifts for special occasions. Sadly, the number of families who need our help is increasing, as an officer dies in the line of duty every 57 hours on average in our country.
The AFPCC not only promotes the welfare and interests of the police community but also the safety of general public.
The AFPCC operates as a program of the United States Law Enforcement Foundation, a 501c3 public charity.
